Its functions include the management and tracking of laboratory samples, coordination of workflows, data storage, and analysis, and enhanced accessibility to quality diagnostic testing specifically in providing timely, accurate, and precise information needed for proper customer care, environmental health planning, and policy decision-making.
Its primary function is updating and developing the environmental health analysis system database, with the use of modernized planning techniques and links to the available legacy systems, to automate the environmental health analysis system work cycles.
