The Ministry, in line with its goal of developing the transportation system of Umrah and Muslim pilgrims, aims to deploy transport planning, support monitoring, follow-up, and spatial operational planning tools. The project’s coverage also extends to the tracking and follow-ups of fleet buses, determining optimal alternatives in scheduling movement corresponding to the operational plans, and finally, the enhancement of coordination levels among authorities involved in transport planning.

The scope of this project is limited to:
the development of the Geo-Database of the transportation system for the Rahman guests, while ensuring compatibility with Mecca/Medina/Holy Sacred Sites housing models and demographic distribution.
the incorporation of plans, itineraries, and packages with a focus on daily and seasonal activities and its consequences.
the building of operational plans, measures, policies, and models of road network optimal use.
the use of modern planning techniques to build and standardize the digital models and templates for transportation operational plans.
