This integrated desktop application has developed the business logic tier into a web service so that, in future applications, it may be invoked from other platforms for further development and integration. It was built using SOA techniques. This comprehensive system aids applicants in obtaining workflows and certificate print-puts for birth registration, death registration, marriage registration, and divorce registration. Applicants are also assisted in the processes of office transfer requests to another city or district, and in searching for a person, family, or an operation. Applicants seeking print-outs for family trees, statistical, operational, personal, family, and user reports, and the GIS module, which is a critical decision-making tool for services distribution relative to the population, will find this system useful.
